CNY.

CNY again. honestly, to me, there wasn't much of a 'feeling' at all. same old same old...as usual.
i guess what was 'new' to me was that my aunties were all ohhing and ahhing about how much of a woman i've grow into and how good i looked now. what was weird was that they mentioned how not chinese i looked now and how 'angmoh' i looked. i was like 'HUHHH..WHAT?!!??' yea, you go figure. haha.

so in just one day, i collected an amount of cash in which i could only earn if i decided to be hardworking and slog for one pay check...which is about two weeks?

i've been working since the second day of CNY. no, it isn't crazy because i love my job, like seriously. it's been sometime i work days consecutively and whoo..it hasn't really been a breeze, considering that it's CNY too. full shifts since friday and i must say that it was quite a challenge. the weather, the people were...well..some were nice while majority were just plain nasty.

yesterday, i had a near drowning case in which i could not really figure out what really happened till now. a myammar worker with two friends. i saw no struggling or whatsoever. all i know was his friend asking for help under my tower at zone 7 in which i had taken over from nicola when she left. the friend was trying to speak in english but i could only catch bits and pieces. anyways, no one was pretty much panicing, not even me. apparently, i guess, the guy had drank too much and yea, went beyond his depth. his friends had helped him. he didnt die or whatever, but he had needed oxygen and to be sent to the hospital in which i heard he decided against it. maybe cos the charges werent affordable.

today i had two cute lil austria boys, age five an three, with blond hair and lovely blue eyes come stalk my partner and i at tanjong. we gave one of them a ride back on the buggie when we realise how much he did not seem to be leaving us alone. then he came back with his younger brother again...how sweet..their parents were the typical friendly angmohs too :)

tomorrow's another day of sun and service. i'm looking forward yea. heading to bed now.

baby's coming home tomorrow. can't wait.
